Just A Matter Of Perspective‏

I like to share this article my friend sent me and after reading it i am intrigue by the message which exactly an Apostle Barbara Yoder prophesy to our church two weeks ago.

Perspective

One day , the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip , the father asked his son , "How was the trip?"
"It was great , Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah , " said the son.
"So , tell me , what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us , but they serve others.
We buy our food , but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us , they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added , "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

I was pondering on the message Apostle Barbara Yoder prophesy to our church that God will restore a child like spirit in us. Will i be a child again or should i speak gaa gaa goo goo with you. It tickle me for a while what does she mean child like spirit. After reading this article i beginning to think how we are use to see things in our own perspective and not God perspective of life. How we have anger for something so trivial with God and overlook something great is on its way. How we miss the opportunity of blessing by shying away the blessing in front of us.

I must admit i have done it thousand of times and now i am sharing my shame with you. God ask us to humble our self and see the greater things to come. "Therefore who ever humble himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven" Matthew 18:4

I am no better than you but know i know i have a way to taste my blessing with this message. Be humble before God almighty and he will show you his own perspective to you.

God Bless
